MOGAS is an acronym for "Meditate on God and Stretch" and a clarion call to confess and repent of our sins, receive Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior, and meditate and stretch biblically to help renew minds and transform lives.
MOGAS is BIBLICAL MEDITATION AND STRETCHING that reminds us how a Child of God should behave. It is the Christian practice of filling our minds with godly thoughts and our lives with godly actions.
MOGAS is NOT yoga because yoga is a Hindu practice, and we do NOT practice mindfulness as it is a Buddhist practice.
How to MOGAS
Hear and believe the Word. (James 1:2, Proverbs 4:20, Matthew 19:9, Romans 10:17)
Read and Study the Word. (Psalm 119:15 NLT, 2 Timothy 2:15, Proverbs 4:21)
Hide it in your heart. (Psalm 119:9-11, Proverbs 4:21)
Speak and Utter the Word. (Joshua 1:8)
Envision and Ponder the Word. (Philippians 4:8-9, Hebrews 11:1-3)
Write down what is taught. (Deuteronomy 6:8-9)
Pray and Obey the Word. (Pray: 1 Thessalonians 5:17, Do: James 1:2, 1 John 3:9)
Be thankful for the Word! (1 Thessalonians 5:16 and 18)
And from it never part! (Joshua 1:8)
